Jane Eyre movie trailer

Possibly my favorite of the British classics, the novel Jane Eyre is getting the film treatment again! It stars Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) as Jane and I hope this time a version has been done to live up to the book! Check out the trailer below.

The Jane Eyre 2006 DVD is my favorite adaptation. Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens was spectacular in that version. It would be hard topping that but I’m looking forward to watching the 2011 film nonetheless.

Looks great! Very true to the novel, it seems. The music and everything, sets the right mood.
