Brits win big at Oscars

The Brits stole the show at last night’s Oscars with the biggest wins of the night going to “The King’s Speech“.  Colin Firth won for Best Actor for his portrayal of the stammering King George, and the film also won Best Picture , Best Director (Tom Hooper) and Best Original Screenplay (David Seidler).

Another big winner representing the English was Christian Bale, who took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “The Fighter”.  His acceptance speech was my favorite of the night.  Watch the video below to see him talking about his win.
